Upcoming Geographic Product Releases - August 19, 2014

2014 TIGER/Line Shapefiles

The 2014 TIGER/Line Shapefiles will be released on August 19, 2014.  This version includes geography for the 2012 Economic Census and updates to our TIGER database as of May 2014.

2014 TIGER Geodatabases

The 2014 TIGER Geodatabases will be released on August 19, 2014.  The geodatabases contain updates to our TIGER database as of May 2014.


2014 Gazetteer Files

The 2014 Gazetteer Files will be released on August 19, 2014. The gazetteer files are lists of geographic entities, such as county, place, and census tracts, with information on name, geographic code, and latitude/longitude of the internal point.


A product release announcement will be sent out once the products are available on our website.


In Case You Missed It - Recent Product Releases

Cartographic Boundary Files - Shapefile & KML format

The 2013 cartographic boundary files have been released in both shapefile and KML format.  The cartographic boundary files are simplified representations of selected geographic areas from the Census Bureau's MAF/TIGER geographic database. These boundary files are specifically designed for small scale thematic mapping. Use this version of the cartographic boundary files to create thematic maps from the upcoming 2013 American Community Survey data release.
