New Kids.gov Career Video

Our latest Kids.gov video features Captain Pete Benning, Pilot, U.S. Marine Corps who flies the Osprey, a Tiltrotor aircraft. Captain Benning talks about the capabilities of the Osprey and how he can move the aircraft's propellers in a down position, so it flies like an airplane, or he can be move them in an up position, so it can hover like a helicopter. He discusses the importance of math in his job and how anyone can be a pilot if they are disciplined, dedicated, and willing to work in school. To check out the rest of our career videos, go to our YouTube channel.
