Immunization Schedules and Helping Prepare Your Child for Vaccinations

 

Before school starts, it's a good idea to take your child in for a physical and eye exam. If your child wants to play sports, most schools require a doctor to sign a release form to allow your child to participate. This is also a good time to make sure your child's immunization shots are up-to-date. Find out what immunization documentation is necessary for your child's school. Each state has different immunization requirements. Be sure to keep your own copy of your child's immunization records.

 

Most kids do not like getting shots. Some kids are downright terrified. This article provides tips on how to prepare your kids for a trip to the doctor to get vaccinations.
