Monday 07/14/14
Winds may be light enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" levels on the northeast and north side of the Houston area with highest concentrations this afternoon and into the early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and low background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.
Tuesday 07/15/14
Winds may be light enough and incoming background level high enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" or possibly higher levels in the Houston area and "Moderate" levels on the west and northwest side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and in the Tyler-Longview area with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.
Wednesday 07/16/14 Outlook
Winds may be light enough and incoming background level high enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" levels on the northeast and north side of the Houston area, on the southwest side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and in the Tyler-Longview and Beaumont-Port Arthur areas, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Another African dust cloud could raise the daily PM2.5 AQI into the "Moderate" range over most of South Texas. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.
