Subject: Historic Data Now Available from 1997 through 2003 for Nonemployer Statistics
To: iammejtm@gmail.com

Nonemployer Statistics now provides data for historic years in a downloadable file format.
County-level data files in comma-separated value format (.csv) are available for tax years 1997 through 2003.
Previously, statistics for these years at the County level were only accessible from the Census Bureau's website by
using the online HTML tables.

Please visit the U.S. Census Bureau's website to download comma separated value (.csv) files.

For assistance, contact the Nonemployer Statistics staff by email or phone at 301-763-2580.

Nonemployer Statistics originate from tax return information of the Internal Revenue Service. The data are subject to nonsampling error such as errors of self-classification by industry on tax forms, as well as errors of response, nonreporting and coverage. Values provided by each firm are slightly modified to protect the respondent's confidentiality. Further information about methodology and data limitations is available at http://www.census.gov/econ/nonemployer/methodology.htm.
