Purchasing customers will be happy to know that AutoChoice is undergoing a "facelift", which will be launched officially on October 1, 2014. Among a variety of visual and navigational improvements, two new fields – Funding Agency ID and Funding Office ID -- will be incorporated to more accurately identify the agency and funding office responsible for the procurement action. AutoChoice users will be responsible for populating these two fields with the codes that accurately reflect their agency's cost for vehicle purchases and which will ultimately be posted in the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS). Throughout the summer, look for additional notifications on this important change and how to identify the proper Funding Agency and Funding Office IDs for your agency.
