Website Update NoticeDADS has issued the following Provider Alerts or Bulletins: ICF-IID Provider Requirements Related to the STAR+PLUS Managed Care Expansion Webinar to Be Held July 14, 2014The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services is hosting a webinar on July 14, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. This webinar will provide information regarding the requirements for maintaining a continuously current Level of Care authorization and Medicaid financial eligibility for all individuals enrolled in an Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with an Intellectual Disability or Related Conditions (ICF/IID) to prevent service disruption due to the transition of acute care services to the STAR+PLUS Managed Care Organization on September 1, 2014. A copy of the PowerPoint is available for review. Questions about ICF-IID provider requirements related to the STAR+PLUS managed care expansion may be submitted to icfiid.questions@dads.state.tx.us. DADS staff will plan to address questions submitted by close of business on July 10, 2014 during the webinar. Submitted questions will also be added to a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document that will be posted after the webinar. In addition to submitting questions ahead of time, webinar attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions to DADS during the course of the actual webinar. Those questions submitted during the course of the webinar will be collected by DADS for inclusion in the FAQ document. Who should attend?
